Self-awareness and authentic leadership
Being an authentic leader is crucial for creating a positive and effective team environment. Authentic leaders are self-aware, inspiring, and effective in their leadership style. They build trust, defend their team members when necessary, motivate employees, drive change, and take responsibility for their mistakes. When authentic leaders are in place, employee wellbeing and engagement improve, leading to increased profits.
To be an authentic leader, it is important to have a grasp of the "triad of awareness." This includes an inward focus, a focus on others, and an outward focus.
In this masterclass, Jo will explore various aspects of authentic leadership. Some of the topics covered will include:
1. Using Belbin model, Increasing team leadership effectiveness: Jo will help you discover how to create your own unique style of leadership that aligns with your values and strengths.
2. A strategic approach to managing yourself, your team, and your sphere of influence.
3. A three-part model for leaders: Jo will introduce a three-part model for leaders, focusing on developing coherence, versatility, and the ability to learn.
By attending this masterclass, you will gain valuable insights and practical strategies to enhance your authentic leadership style and improve your team's performance. There will be a presentation followed by a Q&A session
