Leadership Essentials: Sustaining Growth
Sustainable growth is the realistic, attainable growth that can be achieved without running into problems of funding caused by too rapid growth or by stagnation because of slow growth or lack of innovation. Optimum growth rates vary by sector and over the lifecycle of a company. Sustained growth requires a focussed strategy, but this needs to be matched by an increase in capability, for example investment in infrastructure.
‘Leadership Essentials: Sustaining Growth’ provides an overview of why an understanding of sustaining growth is essential for leadership capability and includes ‘Top Tips’ on how sustaining growth can help you become a better leader.
The Essentials leaflet is supported by three Spotlights that look at sustaining growth in more detail to help you improve your leadership skills:
- Environmental Sustainability
- Know Your Market
- Know Your Suppliers
