Over the next few months, you will notice that the logo, website address (domain name), and any mentions of our name will change. We kindly ask for your patience as we make this transition.

Will you still be providing insights and resources on management?

Yes - Management plays a key role in achieving and maintaining competent and capable leadership. Most importantly, we will continue to recognise and reward management ability and achievement as a prerequisite for Institute membership.

Do I need to update my post-nominals?

YES – Even though the existing letters after your name will still be recognised, they will start to be phased out, so we recommend you update them as soon as you can.

Will my membership digital credentials be reissued?

Yes - you will receive updated digital credentials via email. This might not be for a few weeks, so make sure you keep checking your inbox.

Will my membership certificate be re-issued?

Yes – your membership certificates will be reissued. Keep a look out for an email with your new certificates attached.
If you have completed an Institute Approved programme or Pathway, your Certificate of Achievement will remain valid.

Will there be any changes in my membership fees?

No.  This will not impact your membership fees.

Is the website name (domain) changing

Yes – We will be changing the domain name to www.leadership.global, but don’t worry, all traffic to www.institutelm.com will be redirected to the new domain. However, we encourage you to update your favourites, as this redirect won’t be in place forever!

Do I need to update my links to the website/MyLeadership?

Yes – as explained above you will need to change your ‘favourite links’ once the domain name changes have been made to the website.

Do I need to update the logo for my Institute Approved programme/Pathway?

Yes - You will need to update the logo and any references to The Institute of Leadership & Management. However, you will have plenty of time to do this – until June 2024.
Your Institute Approved Tutor Toolkit contains updated logos and a communications guide to help you with this, or if you need help then please contact your Business Manager.

Will my contract need to change?

No - Your Business Manager will be in touch if we need to update your contract in any way.

Is The Institute’s email address changing?

Yes  – if you need to contact anyone at The Institute the domain name will change to <firstname.surname>@leadership.global. But don’t worry, during the transition @institutelm.com emails will be redirected to @leadership.global, so your email should still reach the right person.

What is the acronym for The Institute of Leadership.

Our official acronym is IoL.There is no requirement to add 'the' infront of IoL unless it works better in a sentence, in which case you can use a lower case 't' on 'the'.
