Events Terms and Conditions 

1. Registering for an event

To register onto one of our events you are required to have an online account.  If you are a current member or have an existing Institute of Leadership online user account, login to make a booking. If you are a new user, an account will be created for you as part of making your booking. You will be provided with the opportunity to specify interest areas and receive mailings about future relevant events.

Your account information will be stored in our database and will be subject to the overall terms and conditions outlined above and in our privacy statement available to view on the website.

Photography and audio recording

Please note that our events may be photographed or audio recorded. These materials will be used for internal and external promotional purposes only by The Institute of Leadership. If you object to appearing in the photographs, please let our photographer know on the day. Alternatively, you can email [email protected], in advance of the event that you are attending.

Event Cancellation Policy

Payment of registration fees

  1. Full payment for registration is required by credit/debit card at the point of booking where chargeable.
  2. If you decide to attend an event on the day, payment can be made using a credit card using the booking system on www.leadership.global.
  3. Event registration fees can be paid in Pounds Sterling
  4. Credit/Debit card payments: All cards are accepted apart from American Express.
  5. Group/third-party bookings.  Our online booking system facilitates group or third-party bookings for other delegates.  In this event, all individual delegates will receive information and communication about the event directly by email.  If you are booking a ticket for a member of The Institute of Leadership you will need the individual’s membership number to obtain a member discount/ticket.  If you are booking a third party onto an event, you will need the delegate's permission to do so.

 

Cancellation by us

The Institute of Leadership reserves the right to modify or cancel any event if unforeseen circumstances arise. If we cancel an event, we shall inform you as soon as possible using the contact details provided to us and offer you a full event ticket refund. The Institute of Leadership is not liable for any additional costs incurred by you related to this event – including travel, accommodation or subsistence.

 

Cancellation by you

Tickets to events are non-refundable please contact [email protected] to discuss options.

 

Substitution

If you’re unable to attend an event your registration ticket/fee can be transferred to a substitute delegate. Only one transfer/substitute per registration is available.   If the ticket is a discounted/free Member ticket, it should be transferred to another Member of The Institute of Leadership.  If the substitute delegate is not a member – the additional fee will be chargeable at the point of transfer.

 

No charge events

All events are costly to set up, even those for where there is 'no charge'. If you register but find you are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible.

By registering for an event, you have confirmed that you have read and understood the terms & conditions and our cancellation policy.
