Leadership has always embraced the idea that engaging with individuals and with teams is central to good leadership practice. As we emerge into the post Covid era the way we are organized in work has changed - possibly permanently - with a variety of potential relationships emerging. This introduces a degree of complexity into employee engagement. 
However, there are still fundamental principles at play which, if observed, guide us to providing leadership in the most challenging of times. None more so than is the global aviation industry.
