This new partnership formally recognises AMM as our main regional partner for the Balkans and will support our ongoing mission to champion strong, ethical leadership across the globe.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Budimir Raičković, President of AMM, and our CEO John Mark Williams – and sets the foundation for a long-term collaboration aimed at expanding leadership opportunities and resources across Central and Eastern Europe.

Together, we’ll be working on a range of joint initiatives, including educational programmes, expert panels, and leadership research. A particular focus will be placed on supporting the AMM Academy and laying the groundwork for a new Balkan Centre for Leadership and Management.

At The Institute of Leadership, we’re proud to bring together more than 50,000 leaders and managers across 70+ countries – and this partnership reflects our continued commitment to connecting with organisations that share our values of growth, professionalism, and innovation.

Speaking about the agreement, AMM President Budimir Raičković said:

“This partnership is a strong confirmation of the international reputation that AMM has built through dedicated efforts in promoting leadership and management culture in Montenegro and the region. It opens new opportunities for professional development and networking for our members and young leaders through high-quality global resources.”

Our CEO John Mark Williams added:

“The Balkan region is an area of great potential and transformation, where leadership plays a key role. AMM has been recognised as a credible and active partner with whom we wish to build a long-term and meaningful cooperation.”

This collaboration builds on our growing portfolio of global partnerships, which includes the Commonwealth Secretariat, EAPM, CEC European Managers, and others across the Commonwealth network.

We look forward to working closely with AMM and supporting leadership development across the Balkans.
