The Institute of Leadership Launches Inaugural Lead & Learn Week

The Institute of Leadership is proud to announce the launch of its first-ever Lead & Learn Week, a new initiative designed to explore the biggest challenges facing organisations today. As the world of work continues to evolve, organisations must adapt, innovate and support their people more effectively than ever before.

Taking place from Monday 6 July to Friday 10 July, Lead & Learn Week 2026 will focus on effective workplace learning and how organisations can embed learning into daily working life, in ways that benefit both employees and the organisation as a whole.

Over a week of expert-led webinars, discussions and practical insights, the initiative will examine how learning can become an integral part of workplace culture, rather than a standalone activity. The Institute of Leadership is partnering with Belbin - The Team Role Company, Netex Learning, The Learning Performance Institute and Embed to deliver a series of live and pre-recorded sessions exploring topics that cover leadership development, skills growth, recent workplace learning shifts and how organisations can prepare for the future today.

As organisations feel increasing pressure to respond to technological advancement, rising employee expectations, and ongoing capability challenges, creating a culture of continuous learning has become a strategic priority. Lead & Learn Week will bring this challenge to the forefront, helping leaders and organisations rethink how learning happens at work and how it can become a powerful driver of performance, engagement and success.

The Institute of Leadership runs a monthly Masterclass series for its members, inviting experts who are shaping the future of work to share insights, best practices, and practical strategies. As part of Lead & Learn Week 2026, two Masterclasses will be open to the public, giving non-members the unique opportunity to access expert guidance on building, embedding and maintaining effective workplace learning cultures.
