Finding Your Leadership Values

Presented by Leading with Integrity

Leadership can feel overwhelming—where does one even begin? This question is often asked by new leaders, first-time founders, and emerging managers who are looking to establish their leadership identity.

This interactive workshop, Finding Your Leadership Values, is designed to help participants explore the concept of leadership and what it means to them personally. Understanding core leadership values and how to apply them in daily behaviours is an essential foundation for any leader.

What to Expect

During this session, participants will:

  • Define what leadership means to them on a personal level.
  • Identify their top three leadership values.
  • Discover key behaviours that align with these values to guide future leadership actions.

This session is highly interactive, encouraging open discussions and reflection. While there will be some facilitated learning and presentation, attendees will be actively engaged in shaping their leadership perspectives.

Exploring Leadership Through Different Lenses

Leadership is a dynamic and evolving concept, often influenced by historical figures, modern thought leaders, and personal experiences. From Adam Grant to Dwight D. Eisenhower, Abraham Lincoln to Anakin Skywalker(!), the workshop will explore various interpretations of leadership and how they shape different leadership styles.

Attendees will be encouraged to choose a leadership hero—someone they admire for their leadership qualities—and extract key insights that inform their own leadership philosophy.

By the End of the Workshop, Participants Will:

  • Have a clear understanding of their leadership values, inspired by their chosen leadership figure.
  • Identify practical ways to implement these values in their leadership journey.
  • Gain insights into how values-driven leadership impacts teams, organisations, and communities.

If time permits, there will also be a Q&A and feedback discussion to further explore leadership insights.
