Becoming a leader of influence
Presented by Can Do Academy
Join Can Do Academy for an engaging session during International Leadership Week (#ILW25), to explore the fundamental question: What is the true meaning of leadership? This insightful event will uncover the essential qualities of leadership beyond authority, focusing on influence, connection, and empowerment.
In today’s world, simply holding a leadership title doesn’t guarantee respect or loyalty. True leadership is not about power - it’s about inspiring and guiding others. Leaders who succeed don’t rely on charm or authority alone; they actively learn, adapt, and grow alongside their teams.
Influence doesn’t automatically come with a title
Leadership isn’t just about giving instructions - it’s about earning trust and respect. Drawing from the expertise of world-renowned leadership and management expert John C. Maxwell, this session will introduce proven strategies for developing authentic influence. Attendees will explore how leadership is a skill that can be learned and strengthened through intentional practice.
