About the book

9 Types Nick Robinson

Nick’s book, The 9 Types of Difficult People, was recently published by Pearson. It made the WHSmith non-fiction book chart and the longlist for business book of the year, as well as attracting endorsements from highly respected business leaders.

Designed to help anyone who has experienced a difficult person at work, the book explores the nine types of ‘difficult people’ and enables readers to diagnose the type of person they’re working with. Nick shares practical tools and techniques for dealing with each different type and how to help build the right mindset for success and successful workplace relationships.

Nick Robinson has over two decades of experience as an Executive Coach, working with managers across every size and type of organisation – from SMEs to multinationals, public sector to private.

He’s a former Chartered Accountant, a Certified Professional Coach, an NLP Master Practitioner, a Graduate of the Newfield School’s Mastery in Coaching programme and has served two terms on the Council of the Institute of Directors.

Before becoming a coach, Nick had large-company experience in senior Finance, Corporate Strategy, Human Resources and Project Director roles. He now specialises in one-to-one and team coaching for difficult people and tough teams at work.
